Kazahana has arrived!

Kazahana came in the mail today! Scanning will begin soon… ^^;; It really took too long for it to get here. I expected it sooner than this. And now I have a big test on Wednesday so I probably won’t be able to start scanning it until that night or Thursday night. Bah! Silly yesasia.com.

Title:  How to use Sexy

Release Date: September 19th, 2007

How to Use Sexy was by far the best album put out by a Hello! Project soloist and the best album produced under the Hello! Project umbrella in a couple years. Goto Maki is an extraordinarily talented singer and dancer (as well as actress!) and this album, How to use Sexy, was an amazing end to her time with Hello! Project, though so many hearts were broken when she left. She claimed that the vision she had for her career and what Up-Front Agency expected of her career did not agree and graduated, disappearing into Japan for months until very recently.

Her blog reopened on March 25th and she has been writing in it daily ever since, telling fans about voice and dance training she has been getting in the US! She has traveled around the western US from Las Vegas to Los Angeles to Hawaii, taking it all completely in and embracing it. It seems she could be preparing for some kind of entrance back into her career as an idol but nothing is confirmed yet.

To celebrate the return of Goto Maki, here are a couple audios–How to Use Loneliness and City Wind– and a RAR of the entire album.

Kazahana, 10 days and counting.

For weeks now no one has been willing to share scans of Ishikawa Rika’s most recent Photobook Kazahana.  So, yesterday I did it. …Haha, no, I didn’t scan it. Yet. But I did order it. And when it arrives, I’m going to scan it. Part of this is that I really would like access to those pictures myself, but I also really have enjoyed sharing ERI with everyone. ^_^ The scans even persuaded some to buy the PB themselves.

Kazahana will be arriving to me around 10 days from now. Prepare yourselves!

It’s a small World Wide Web after all.

I just found my scans of the ERI Complete Works PB being offered in a torrent at Hello!Online. And I was credited for the scans there, which makes me happy! ^_^ But it’s actually great that someone put it up in a torrent. I can’t put up torrents myself because the campus firewall here is a control freak (or I imagine it would be if it were a person) and I haven’t found a way around it, as much as I’ve tried. This is also the reason why my share ratio is complete shit there, too. I can leech torrents to my heart’s content (slowly, but better than nothing) but it’s rare I can seed.

I’ll probably have time this weekend, at the latest, to scan the rest of the PB. But I’ll try to get to it before that if I can. Here’s an older wallpaper I made from Eri’s MAPLE PB scans. Just because I don’t like not offering media content when I post to my blog. ^^;;

1st GAM～甘い誘惑～

Release Date: May 23, 2007

1st GAM～甘い誘惑～ is the first (and possibly only) album by GAM, Matsuura Aya and Fujimoto Miki. In my opinion, it’s one of the best Albums Hello! Project has produced in at least a couple years, surpassed only by one other (which I’ll write about later!). What makes this album and this duo work is the bond between Miki and Aya. Because they are so close, they do not try to outshine each other or compete. Instead, they really enjoy creating music together and it shows through in this album 100%.

Here are a couple audios– 愛の船 (Ai no Fune) and 愛情オアシス (Aizyou Oasys)– and a RAR of the entire album.

“ERI” PB Scans

Hey. This zip file contains 67 of the images from the April 3rd release of “ERI”. It’s all of the new photos (with the exception of a couple I didn’t like and decided were not worth my time to scan…). The images were scanned at 200 dpi, then resized to 1100 pixel width. I haven’t scanned pictures in the collection from the first three PBs yet, but I might (espescially if someone here really wants them). Tomorrow or the day after I will probably rescan some, if not most of these, at higher quality because at least a couple of them didn’t come out well at 200 dpi, and then I’ll post an updated zip file.
